Joe Biden: India America Relation
Relations between India and America have not been going well for the last few years. The sweetness is not visible in the relationship which used to come during the time of Donald Trump. The anti-India stand of the current President Joe Biden is seen from time to time.
During his tenure, he has taken many such decisions which have been against India. In this sequence, Biden has taken another similar decision. Actually, the Biden administration has decided to upgrade the fighter jet F-16 with the Pakistan Air Force (PAF). Not only this, but America has also given financial assistance of $ 450 million to Pakistan for this. He has given this help when his relations with Pakistan are very bad.
Joe Biden: Shocks have already been given to India
It is not that Biden has done something for the first time that is against India. He has already done such things which have shocked India. To understand this, you have to go into a little flashback. It was the year 1992. Then Joe Biden used to be a senator of the Democratic Party from the Delaware area of America.

At that time, the command of America was in the hands of the Republican Party’s George Bush Sr. At the same time the Soviet Union had broken up and Russia was making its new beginning as a separate country. Then the President of Russia was Boris Yeltsin. There was a third picture of India. India was going through a period of economic reforms then. In January 1991, India signed a deal worth Rs 235 crore with the Russian space organization Glarvkosmos. According to this deal, India would get seven cryogenic engines from there. Apart from this, a deal was also done on the transfer of technology.
In this way, because of Biden, America had put obstacles
When India was dealing with Russia, then France also offered this engine, but it was about 1000 crores and was costlier than Russia. In such a situation, India rejected him. A lot of politics was done in America on this deal and it was led by Joe Biden. Because Russia was more dependent on Western countries at that time, the US opposed the sale of cryogenic engine technology. The US said that this deal would violate the 1987 Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR). However, experts denied this.
He said that cryogenic engines are for space rockets, they are not to be used for ballistic missiles. Even after a lot of struggle, in the end, because of Biden, America put such conditions in front of Russia that it had to modify the deal with India. He agreed to give 7 engines to India but refused to transfer technology. In such a situation, India also backed out of this deal and decided to develop its own cryogenic engine. In 2014, India also did this.
