Chandigarh: Protest University over ‘leaked videos’ of women students
Hundreds of students of a private college held a protest late Saturday after a lady student’s videos of other students went viral.
Chandigarh: Huge protests have broken out at Chandigarh College in Punjab’s Mohali after a young lady private recordings of her hostel mates online. Police have registered a case and the charged young lady has been arrested.

A massive protest broke out at the Chandigarh College campus post-midnight after the recordings of around 60 young ladies taking showers within the inn were spilled. Hundreds of understudies took to the road on Saturday night after the chaos broke out on the campus.

Students were in a state of shock when clips of them having a shower surfaced online. Reports say that eight understudies living within the lodging endeavored suicide when they saw their video on the Web. They have been taken to different hospitals.
As a precautionary measure, police have been conveyed within the entire area. An investigation has been launched into the case.

On the other hand, SSP Mohali, Vivek Soni, denied reports of understudies attempting suicide and said, “It’s a matter of a video being shot by a young lady understudy & circulated. FIR enrolled within the matter & charged understudy captured.
Chandigarh: Kejriwal condemns College video spill incident
Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal condemned the video spill of the students of Chandigarh College and guaranteed the students that all offenders will get the harshest punishment.

The Chandigarh Police on Sunday captured a lady student from Mohali for supposedly spilling frightful recordings of other students of a private college within the state.
