Aamir Khan and her wife Kiran Rao shared a video message to their fans and to be separated couple talked about their separation. The couple said in the video that from now onward they will not be husband-wife but always remain part of the same family and they will be still available for each other.

But what is the main reason behind their separation?

In the live video when Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao announced their divorce they both were holding hands and said to their fans that “you must be unhappy, felt bad about the news and must be in shock. But we just want to say that we both are happy and we are part of one family. Our relationship must have changed but we are still each other always stay like that, so don’t think about anything”

(Toh aap logon ko dukh bhi hua hoga, achcha nahi laga hoga, shock laga hoga. Hum bas itna aapko kehna chahte hai ki hum log dono bohot khush hai aur hum ek hi parivaar hai. Humare rishte mein change aaya hai. Lekin hum log ek doosre ke saath hi hai, toh aap log aisa kabhi mat sochiyega).

Aamir Khan also addresses that he and his wife were planning of separation some time ago and we are fully comfortable with the arrangement of living separately and yet sharing our lives.

Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao also said that the separation is not the end it’s the beginning of the new journey, they also mentioned that they will be fully devoted to their son Azad.

In a joint statement, Actor Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao announced divorce after 15 years of marriage. The couple said, “The couple also mention, “We would like to begin a new chapter in our lives – no longer as husband and wife, but as co-parents and family for each other.

There was also a statement that said, “In these 15 beautiful years together we have shared a lifetime of experiences, joy, and laughter, and our relationship has only grown in trust, respect, and love. Now we would like to begin a new chapter in our lives – no longer as husband and wife, but as co-parents and family for each other (sic).

In another statement, they also mentioned that “they will continue to work as collaborators on films, like Pani Foundation and many other projects we are passionate about. Big-Big thank you to our family and friends who constantly support us and understand this face in our relationship and without them, we would not have been so secure taking this step.

And we request all our fans, our well-wishers for giving us their blessings and good wishes and hope that this divorce will not the end it will be the new start of our journey”

Aamir Khan was previously married to Reena Dutt and had 2 children. They get separated in 2001 after 15 years of marriage. Then he met Kiran Rao in 2002 and got married in 2005 and separated in 2021 again after 15 years.
