Rhea Chakraborty is an Indian actress who primarily works in Bollywood films. She was born on July 1, 1992, in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
Her father, Indrajit Chakraborty, is a retired Indian Army officer, and her mother is a homemaker. She has a younger brother named Showik Chakraborty. She started her career as a VJ on MTV India and later made her acting debut with the Telugu film “Tuneega Tuneega” in 2012.
Rhea Chakraborty gained popularity with her performance in the 2013 Bollywood film “Mere Dad Ki Maruti”. She went on to appear in several other Bollywood films such as “Sonali Cable”, “Half Girlfriend”, and “Jalebi”.
