Satish Kaushik Passed Away

Satish Kaushik is an Indian film director, producer, and actor who has worked in Bollywood. He was born on April 13, 1956, in Mahendragarh, Haryana, India.

Kaushik began his career in the film industry as an assistant director to Shekhar Kapoor in the movie Masoom (1983). He then went on to act in films like Mr. India (1987), Ram Lakhan (1989), and Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja (1993), among others. He is known for his comic timing and has played memorable characters in many films.

In 1996, Kaushik made his directorial debut with the film Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, which was a commercial failure. However, he went on to direct successful films like Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain (1999), Tere Naam (2003), and Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai (2001).

Kaushik has also produced films like Milenge Milenge (2010) and Gang of Ghosts (2014). He has won several awards for his work in the film industry, including the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi for his directorial debut, Siskiyaan (2005).

Family and Friends

Satish Kaushik was born and raised in a middle-class family in Mahendragarh, Haryana, India. He is married to Surpiya Pathak, who is also an actress and has appeared in several films and TV shows. The couple has a daughter named Vanshika Kaushik.

Satish Kaushik died on Thursday, March 9, 2023. He got a heart attack while travelling in a car. His close aide, Anupam Kher, was the first to share the news of his demise.
