The expanding tension between Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the United States which too includes  Russia pursuing war against Ukraine, has raised to an extent that three officials have informed the United States that  Iran might attack Saudi Arabia soon or at least within another 48 hours.

This comes as Iran has been witnessing serious unrest by protesters when a lady died under the care of the police. The protest focused on state-mandated hijab, or headscarf, for ladies but quickly grew into calls for the downfall of Iran’s theocracy itself. At least 270 individuals have been murdered and 14,000 have been captured within the challenges that have cleared over 125 Iranian cities, agreeing to the bunch of Human Rights Activists in Iran.

The WSJ talked to an official of the White House National Security Council who said that the US is “concerned around the risk picture” and “officials stay in constant touch with the Saudis”.

The official, however, did not give any details almost the intelligence shared by the Saudi authorities.

Iran has faulted the US, Saudi Arabia, and Israel for instigating the ongoing protests within the nationLast month, the commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary  Guard Corps publicly warned  Saudi Arabia to rein in the scope of dissents in Iran.

Iran has for the past six weeks been rocked by protests of a scale and nature unprecedented since the 1979 Islamic transformationsparked by the passing of Mahsa Amini in September.

The authorities have warned protesters it is time to leave the streets but the demonstrations have shown no sign of abating, taking place in private areas, major roads and universities nationwide.

 Thousands of individuals have been arrested nationwide in the crackdown on the protestsaccording to rights activists, while Iran’s judiciary has said 1,000 people have as of now been charged in connection with what it depicts as “riots”.
