Man who urinated on Tribesman in Madhya Pradesh arrested; CM says he will not be spared
The culprit, Pravesh Shukla, was arrested after police in Sidhi district in Madhya Pradesh found a video showing a man urinating on a tribesman. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the culprit would “definitely not be spared”
On Tuesday night, Pravesh Shukla, the man seen on camera urinating on a tribesman, was taken into custody. A video of the incident went viral, and many people demanded that Shukla be punished.
Six days after the incident in Sidhi district in Madhya Pradesh, police discovered the video only on Tuesday.
According to a senior police source who spoke to the news agency ANI, Pravesh Shukla has been arrested and is currently being interrogated.
Shukla was the subject of a FIR under the SC /ST Act, Sections 294 (Obscene acts), and 504 (Intentional insult to provoke a breach of the law)

When asked if the accused is a member of the BJP, as some have claimed, Chouhan spoke back, “Criminals have no caste, religion, or party. Criminals are in reality criminals. He may not be included.
Narottam Mishra, the home minister for Madhya Pradesh, echoed comparable thoughts whilst he remarked, “Whoever commits mistake could be punished, no matter which celebration he’s.”

The state’s opposition asserted that Kedar Shukla, a BJP MLA, is represented by Pravesh Shukla after the release of the film. Shukla shared a photo of the two on Facebook. Any ties to Shukla were categorically repudiated by the BJP.
Kedar Shukla confessed that the accused was someone he knew even though he argued that Shukla was not his agent.
The father of Pravesh Shukla, Ramakant Shukla, claimed that his son was Kedar Shukla’s representative. He is a representative of the BJP MLA, thus the opposition is targeting him. Ramakant emphasised his desire for a thorough investigation of the case and the administration of justice.
Former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Kamal Nath said, “I am hurt to see a BJP leader urinate on a tribal man’s face.” These people are so obsessed with power that they don’t even recognise guys as men. This is an insult to Birsa Munda, the Tantia Mama, and the millions of tribal MPs. I want to inform the BJP of these violations and ask them to stop. Our tribal brethren are supported by the party in Congress.

“The incident in Madhya Pradesh’s Siddhi district where a tribal or Dalit youth was humiliated by a strong local leader is truly revolting, and no amount of condemnation can be able to halt such savage crimes. That the management was completely unaware of anything until the video gained popularity is quite troubling. The BJP-led government in Madhya Pradesh should stop attempting to defend the perpetrator and stop talking about his membership in the party. According to Manavati, a former leader of Uttar Pradesh, his assets must be seized.
