Earthquake in Delhi-NCR: Late-night tremors
Severe tremors that lasted for many seconds were reported from neighboring Noida and Gurugram as well

Strong tremors were felt in Delhi and connecting cities around 2 am today after a 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal, prompting numerous to rush out of their houses in the middle of the night.
The serious tremors endured for about 10 seconds and were reported from Noida and Gurugram as well.
An earthquake of 6.3 magnitudes on the Richter scale hit Nepal, killing at least six individuals in a house collapse incident in the Doti district on Wednesday.
The Chief District Officer of Doti, Kalpana Shrestha, affirmed the passing of at least six individuals and wounds to five.
“At least six people were killed and five were injured and were being taken to the hospital. Dozens of houses have been damaged with landslides at various locations across the district,” the official was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
The quake hit at around 1.57 am on Wednesday. The epicenter was Nepal, according to the National Center for Seismology.

Strong tremors were moreover felt in a few parts of North India, including Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. However, no loss of life, injury, or harm, has been detailed so far.
