Iran: women take off hijab to protest against ‘morality police
The passing of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in the custody of the “morality police” in Iran has activated enormous protests, with ladies taking to the streets, burning hijabs and chopping off their hair.
Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old Saturday, September 17, was confined by Iran’s ‘Morality Police’ for wearing the Hijab in an ‘improper manner‘ as she had not completely secured her hair. She was at that point beaten up and in this way surrendered to wounds.
To challenge the passing of the youthful lady in custody, ladies took off their hijabs. The ladies were seen sloganeering “passing to the dictator!” in a few recordings, as security staff sent tear gas to scatter the protesters.
A few recordings rising from the protests have gone viral on social media appearing protestors yelling anti-government mottos as they gathered in Saqqez, the hometown of Mahsa Amini while mourning the 22-year-old who passed on in a hospital in Tehran.

Agreeing to Kairash, the victim’s brother, the police van deterred his sister’s way and snatched her. When Kairash attempted to halt his sister from being carried absent, the cops assaulted and twisted his arm. They informed him when he untangled himself that Mahsa would be taken to the station and released after a one-hour ‘re-education class.’
