After watching every episode of a new Netflix Horror Series, viewers were left feeling reluctant and frightened.
If you don’t, you might as well skip this one because it’s supposedly quite unsettling.
The first thing to take note of about Dear Child is that it is completely dubbed from the original German,
as it is based on Romy Hausmann’s novel of the same name (in German, of course).
Dear Child, based on the original best-selling novel, has been adapted into a miniseries that follows the story of a lady who finds herself in an unusual situation following an incident in the woods.
When she wakes up, she has no idea where she was, how long she’s been gone, or even what her name is.
She does, however, know that she was raped, among other horrifying events that occurred to her.
In the hospital, she is joined by a youngster named Hannah, who is also injured and appears to be her daughter.
Things start to grow crazier and weirder as the plot progresses, so we won’t dive too deep into it.
It stars Kim Riedle in the lead role, with Naila Schuberth as Hannah.
It was released on September 7, and it’s been making people’s tongues wag ever since, with many commenting on how afraid they were and how they had no idea what was going on.
Isn’t that a plus for a horror/thriller?
In any case, a lot of people are interested in it.
“Just watched Dear Child on Netflix,” one user said. Definitely worth watching. Excellent thriller.”
“I enjoyed it, and each episode made me nervous,” said another.
“I watched it yesterday and finished it all at midnight,” said a third.
“I liked it and couldn’t stop.”
“Loved it, but it made me nervous,” said a fourth.
So, if that’s your thing, there’s no doubt a good show to keep you entertained.
If not, you might want to try something a little more relaxed or light-hearted.
Dear Child is now accessible on Netflix in Hindi.
