Queen Elizabeth II has passed on in Scotland aged 96 after fighting wellbeing issues since last October, the Royal Family declared Thursday.
“The Queen passed on calmly at Balmoral this evening. The King and The Queen Partner will stay at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow,” the Royal Family tweeted.
The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.

Her near family rushed to her bedside as doctors grew “concerned” around her wellbeing on Thursday, Buckingham Royal residence said. Her grandson and his wife, Harry and Meghan Markle – who had an open confrontation with the Royal residents, flew in from Canada.
