India Gate: Kartavya Path New Rule For Ice-Cream Carts

The newly-renamed Kartavya Path can have almost 90 ice-cream carts and 30 water dishing out trolleys at six vending locations, civic body NDMC stated
“Each vending zone can have a most of 15 ice cream trolleys and 5 water dishing out kiosks. So, 120 trolleys – 90 ice cream trolleys and 30 water kiosks – can be allowed in six vending areas. This is for higher and superb management of merchandising kiosks,” Upadhyay informed PTI.
He said that an order to this impact has additionally been issued.
The NDMC order stated that ice cream trolley exchange licenses have been issued. According to the NDMC order, the six locations from the place these trolleys will be working are South of C-Hexagon Road, North of C-Hexagon Road, South of Man Singh Road (both sides), South of Rafi Ahmed Road, and North of Rafi Ahmed Road.
