Here is the Shershaah Movie Review. Shershaah is set to release on Independence day weekend 12th of august and choose to release on OTT platforms starring Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, directed by Vishnu Vardhan and presented jointly by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

While announcing the release date of Shershaah Karan Johar wrote,” An ordinary man’s extraordinary journey of courage and valor. Extremely honored, thrilled and excited to present Shershaah, releasing on August 12 only on Prime Video”.

The movie will be clashing with another real war based movie BHUJ: The Pride of India starring Ajay Devgan on the 13th of August

The movie is an upcoming war drama-based movie. Shershaah is a real-life story of Captain Vikram Batra, who died in the Kargil War that was held in June 1999.

Sidharth Malhotra who is playing the lead role of Captain Vikram Batra In Shershaah posted the teaser on Instagram with the caption, “ Heroes live on through their stories. We are honored to bring to you the true story of the Kargil war hero, Captain Vikram Batra (PVC). A film which has had a long journey for me and a real-life character I am proud to play”.

Her rumored girlfriend Kiara Advani also, who is also in the movie sharing the screen with Sidharth Malhotra has also posted sharing the release date with the captain, “The extraordinary journey of bravery, sacrifice and valor like no other”.

The 1 minute and 22-second teaser will clearly tell you the context of the film that is focusing on the real-life hero Captain Vikram Batra, who died in the Kargil war of 1999.

The shooting of the film began last year in May and was supposed to release in cinemas last year but a few months later while shooting for the film Shershaah, Sidharth Malhotra suffered an injury, so the makers of the film decided to change the release date to July as the release month.

The movie is based on the real-life story that how Captain Vikram Batra of 13 Jammu and Kashmir rifles on June 1999 had fought in the Kargil war in the Dras sub-sector influential in the capture of point 5040on the Tololing Ridge leading to Tiger Hill. Captain Vikram Batra died bravely rushing forward to rescue Lieutenant Naveen, a subaltern under Captain Vikram Batra during the successful operation of 4875 Point.

His father received the Param Vir Chakra Award posthumously to honor his son on 15the of August 1999.

Amazon Prime Video also shared a video on social media platform announcing the release date of the film Shershaah with the caption, “With love, pride and happiness in our hearts, we bring you the story of #shershaahonprime starring @sidmalhotra and @advani_kiara, directed by @vishnu_dir Releasing on 12th August (sic)”.
