Jacqueline Fernandez’s Pre-Arrest Bail Extended

Jacqueline Fernandez has looked for bail on the ground that there was no need for her care since the examination is already complete and the charge sheet has been recorded.
A Delhi court on Friday extended the temporary bail granted to performing artist Jacqueline Fernandez within the ₹ 200 crore money laundering case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekar till Tuesday.
Special Judge Shailendra Malik, who had earlier granted the pre-arrest protection to Ms. Fernandez, said the order was not prepared, adding that the court will deliver its order on Tuesday.
“Why haven’t you (ED) captured Jacqueline however during the investigation despite issuing a LOC? Other accused are in jail. Why embrace a pick-and-choose policy,” the court had inquired about the testing agency.
The court had on August 31 taken cognizance of a supplementary charge sheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate in which the on-screen character was named as an accused for the first time.
