From there he was again taken to a private hospital, where treatment is going on. After the incident, Bhimraj Jakhar, who lives in the neighborhood, has complained about the Chitrakoot police station against the owner of the dog and his relative taking care of him.
The police have registered a case against the landlord for negligence and keeping quiet by threatening the gardener. The Animal Branch of the Municipal Corporation has taken Pitbull into its custody. According to the rules, registration is necessary to keep such a dog, but the landlord says that his relative Ankur had brought the dog to Delhi.
Yes it is true that to keep pets in homes, registration has to be done with the municipal corporation, but the irony is that neither people nor the municipal corporation is serious about getting the registration done to keep pets. By registering the pet, the municipal corporation is aware of which animal is being raised in which house. While issuing the registration, many guidelines are also issued for the pet dog, but the Municipal Corporation does not show any seriousness regarding the mandatory registration.
Former chief whip of Jaipur Municipal Corporation, Giriraj Khandelwal has demanded a special campaign to strictly follow the ban on walking pet dogs in all public parks of Jaipur city.
He said that the Municipal Corporation should issue licenses for keeping dogs in homes and those who do not follow the rules should be canceled and heavy fines should be imposed on them. Khandelwal has demanded strict action against the owner of the innocent in the case of a deadly attack by a pet dog of a foreign breed. He said that the Municipal Corporation should give a compensation of Rs 4 lakh to the victim child in this case and bear all the cost of treatment.
