Delhi’s Rajpath is now officially called the Kartavya path 
Ahead of the introduction of the Central Vista road (presently Kartavya Way) by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, the Centre on Wednesday discharged ethereal shots of the redesigned venture. The airborne film, shot by rambles, appears the notorious extend – outlined symmetrically with long lush patches having walkways, included green spaces and repaired canals whereas “guaranteeing the integrity and progression of structural character”.
Reporting the same, Union Serve Meenakshi Lekhi said, “…The renaming of “Rajpath” to “Kartavyapath” may be a reminder that d soul of open benefit isn’t “right to rule” but “duty to serve”.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will introduce the entire extension on September 8. The extension has been renovated under the government’s Central Vista redevelopment project.
On the day of the introduction, guests will not be permitted on the extent from the India Door to Man Singh Street, but they can utilize the remaining part. From September 9, the whole extend will be tossed open to the open.

Past Title changed
In 2015, Aurangzeb Street was renamed A P J Abdul Kalam Street. In 2017, Dalhousie Street was renamed Dara Shikoh Street. Moreover, Teen Murti Adolescent Murti Chowk was changed to Teen Murti Haifa Chowk in 2018. There have been a few propositions to rename Akbar Street, but nothing has been done, however.
