Susan Wojcicki

Susan Wojcicki is an American technology executive and the current CEO of YouTube. She joined Google, YouTube’s parent company, in 1999 and was one of Google’s first marketing managers. In 2006, she became the Senior Vice President of Advertising and Commerce at Google and played a key role in the development of Google’s advertising and monetization strategies.
In 2014, Wojcicki was appointed as the CEO of YouTube, where she has overseen the company’s continued growth and expansion, including the launch of YouTube Red, the company’s subscription-based streaming service, and the acquisition of the gaming streaming platform, Twitch. Wojcicki has been recognized for her leadership and contributions to the technology industry, including being named one of Time’s 100 most influential people in the world in 2015.
Neal Mohan

Neal Mohan is an Indian-American executive who currently serves as the chief product officer at YouTube, a subsidiary of Google. He joined Google in 2008 and has worked in various roles, including Vice President of Display and Video Advertising and Senior Vice President of Display and Video Advertising. In his current role as the chief product officer of YouTube, Mohan is responsible for overseeing the platform’s product strategy and development, including its user interface, monetization features, and content policies. Mohan is a graduate of Stanford University and has previously worked at Microsoft. He will take over as the new CEO of YouTube following the departure of Susan Wojcicki, who has served as the head of YouTube for nearly 8 years.
Youtube CEO
As of my knowledge cutoff of September 2021, the CEO of YouTube was Susan Wojcicki. However, in November 2021, it was announced that Neal Mohan would take over as the new CEO of YouTube. Wojcicki had been the head of YouTube since February 2014 and oversaw the platform’s growth to over 2 billion monthly active users. As the CEO, she was responsible for the overall strategy and operations of YouTube, including its content policies, advertising, and monetization. Neal Mohan, who was previously the Chief Product Officer of YouTube, took over as the CEO in November 2021.
Chief Product Officer

The CPO is typically responsible for overseeing the company’s product development, product design, and product management functions. In the case of YouTube, the CPO is responsible for the platform’s product strategy and development, including its user interface, features, and content policies. Neal Mohan, who was previously the Chief Product Officer at YouTube, played a key role in developing and implementing YouTube’s product strategy, including the introduction of new monetization features and improvements to the platform’s user experience.
